    Ranbir Kapoor

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor makes the most ideal husband according to a recent survey conducted. The reason being his endearing relation with his mother – Neetu Kapoor.

72% of the women who participated in the survey conducted by an online matrimony site felt that Ranbir Kapoor was the “ideal husband” due to the close bond he shared with his mother.

The poll was taken by over 24,000 Indians and around 63.84% of them felt that Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone were a very good match. While Katrina Kaif received 22.30% of the votes, Priyanka Chopra got 13.86% of the votes.

62% of the participants also felt that ‘Mama’s boys’ would make great nurturing and patient husbands.

“There was a time when people thought ‘Mama’s Boys’ wouldn’t make good husbands, but the trend seems to have changed now as per the poll. The poll indicates that when a woman has brought up her son well and he is kind to her, he makes better relationships,” Gourav Rakshit, Chief Operating Officer, Shaadi.com, said in a statement.

He added, “For women, marrying a Mama’s Boy, as it is often referred to, may lead to a patient and understanding husband.”

Well, whatever the poll says, one thing is loud and clear; Ranbir is a rage among girls.

In fact the actor, who is currently working on Besharam, will be teaming up with Phantom films for Anurag Kashyap's most ambitious project, Bombay Velvet.

Initially Ranbir was roped in to play the lead role in the film; however later seeing the actor's involvement in the filming process, the makers requested him to join them in producing the film. Apparently, Ranbir on the other hand was more than happy to join in as co-producer.

To facilitate the inclusion of the Kapoor lad, Anurag has been having several meetings with the film's presenters Viacom 18. • Ranveer accidentally hurts Priyanka on sets of Gunday

    ranveer and priyanka

Ranveer Singh, who previously suffered injuries on his back and a gash to his cheek during a stunt which went wrong on the sets on Gunday has now had to bear the brunt of hurting Priyanka Chopra.

Apparently during a scene, Ranveer Singh was required to pull Priyanka gently but ended up hurting her, reducing her to tears.

A source told TOI, “When it happened for the first time, Priyanka did not complain. However, when Ranveer continued to be rough, she started feeling a strong ache in her arm. At one point he almost twisted her arm, prompting her to yell at him and ‘take it easy’.”

The source revealed that Ranveer Singh quickly got the message, “He was obviously not hurting her deliberately. He just seems too exuberant all the time.”

It seems Ranveer immediately realised his mistake and apolgised to Priyanka, he told TOI, “We were shooting an intense scene in which I had to grab Priyanka’s arm. I didn’t realise the force I was using. Later I saw that she had been bruised. I apologise to her profusely.”

A source told TOI, “Actually, Ranveer is bubbling with energy all the time and he tries to put extra effort in everything he does. Even during normal conversations, he is so loud that he often ends up embarassing himself and the person he is talking to. When on the set, he is always up to something. He needs to calm himself down a bit”
